Mini-conference “Does well-being increase with age?”

The first mini-conference presenting the results of the first wave of the LongEstWell study, titled “Does well-being increase with age?”, will take place on April 29 from 15:00 to 16:30 in Tartu, at Lossi 36, rooms 205 and 206, and online (a participation link will be sent to registered attendees).

Presentations will cover the following topics: age and well-being; mental health profiles; personality and well-being; democracy and well-being; media and well-being; social media and well-being; and health literacy and well-being.

The speakers are:

  • Liisa Talving, Associate Professor of Comparative Politics, University of Tartu
  • Uku Vainik, Professor of Behavioral Genetics, University of Tartu
  • Ragne Kõuts-Klemm, Associate Professor of Journalism Sociology, University of Tartu
  • Katrin Tiidenberg, Professor of Participatory Culture, Baltic Film, Media and Arts School, Tallinn University
  • Kadi Krinal, Head and Senior Researcher at the e-Health Centre, TalTech, together with her team
  • Oliver Nahkur, Researcher in Social Well-being Studies, University of Tartu

The session will be moderated by Mare Ainsaar, Head of the LongEstWell study.

After the presentations, refreshments and wine will be served at 16:30.
